In a tribute to the spirit of womanhood, a leading real estate developer in Dubai will soon build arguably the world’s first tower where only
women can own office space. United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based real estate firm Hydra properties has announced that excavation work for the 20-storey tall ‘Eve’s Tower’ in Dubai’s Business Bay area has been completed and the project is scheduled for completion in 2010.

The Dubai Metro (In Arabic: مترو دبي) is a driverless, fully automated metro network which is under construction in the United Arab Emirates city of Dubai. The Red and Green Lines are under construction, and further lines are planned. These first two lines will run underground in the city centre and on elevated viaducts elsewhere.[1] The Dubai Metro will be the longest fully automated rail system in the world when it opens in 2009.

The US Justice department may ally itself with Dubai’s deputy leader Sheik Hamdan bin Rashid al-Maktoum, in an American class action suit which alleges he trafficked in children for their use in the camel racing business. Though robots have since taken the place of children, it is claimed that the thousands of young boys formerly used in the sport were subjected to consistent maltreatment, including starvation, and sexual abuse.
